Forklift Operator

CT Group specialise in supplying reliable, qualified workers for the civil construction, trades, manufacturing and warehousing industries.

Seeking Forklift Operator, preferably with Gantry Crane experience for a busy PVC and precast concrete tank company in Ormeau.

This an ongoing position for the right candidate.

This role is not suitable for thise holding a Working Holiday or Student Visa.

It is crucial you have a valid Forklift Licence and experience.

Please note our positions are not just "Forklift Operating"- there will be a requirement that you will also assist in other facets of the business i.e.: manual handling.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following selection criteria:

• Valid Forklift Licence with proven experience – Essential;
• Overhead gantry crane experience- Preferred;
• Be physically fit and capable to complete manual tasks – the role will involve manual lifting, bending, squatting and kneeling;
• Must have a positive attitude and be hard working;
• Own reliable vehicle and valid licence – please note that due to the job location public transport may not be available;
• Fully commit to Monday-Friday shifts with a 5am start;
• Have full PPE including steel capped boots, Hi Vis shirts and long pants;
• Motivation is a key factor in the position as these positions could lead to permanent work!
• You must be able to communicate clearly, take & follow directions and be proactive in the workplace;
